Step 1: installing FairUse Wizard Installing FairUse Wizard is easy - simply follow the instructions below: (i) Once you've double-clicked on the downloaded 'fairuse.exe.' file, you should get the following screen. Press 'Next'.
(ii) The installation program asks you where to install FairUse Wizard. It usually defaults to a sensible location, so press 'Next'.
(iii) Next the setup program asks you what you want to install. Although not strictly needed by Windows 2000 and XP, installing the 'ASPI Layer' does no harm and may solve problems on some people's machines. Tick the box next to it and press 'Next'.
(iv) The next thing that the setup program throws up is an advanced option. Ignore it (leave the box unchecked) and press 'Next'.
(v) Setup will now install the FairUse Wizard program to your computer's hard disk.
(vi) The next screen you will see is (hopefully) that the program has installed itself successfully.
(vii) Windows being what it is, you'll need to restart. Do so by making sure the box is ticked and press 'Finish'.
(viii) Once you restart you should see an icon on your desktop like the one below. Double-click on it to run the FairUse Wizard program!
